You’ll meet for your race briefing and start at the poppet headframe at the top of Seddon Street. Once the gun goes you’ll head down the Pit Rim Walkway towards Union Hill. The course crosses SH25 and meanders into this bush-covered mining heritage area before taking you out to the MTB Park and Riverbank Terrace Track. You'll then loop back and take a trail alongside Mill Stream and once you’re through this scenic trail you'll cross SH25 again and head through Slevin Park for a short blast around the Pit Rim Walkway. As a special treat you'll venture inside the gold mine for a fast finish back at the event base under the shadow of our iconic Cornish Pumphouse.
There will be 1 Aid Station on the 6 km course which you will pass through twice.
You should prepare to be self-sufficient for the duration of your race. Our Aid Stations will have some fruit, water and electrolyte drink available to help with your race nutrition, however this should be considered a top-up only and you shouldn't rely on it for your full race energy requirements.
Cups will not be provided at any aid stations. Please BYO cup/bottle or carry your own hydration needs to help us reduce our event waste.
